The Ranch

When I went walking down the gravel road this morning to bring sugar syrup to my bees, it was clear that spring is drying out into summer here at the ranch. I realized I have spent the last month totally focused on everything I have to do around here, and while that brings its own joy, I haven’t spent much time just basking in all that surrounds me. I decided to go back with my better camera (still just a point-and-shoot but a big step up from the iPhone) and document the ridiculous beauty of this place I call home.

    • Thank you! I found my old digital camera finally (a year after moving, still hadn’t gone through every box) and the pictures are so much better. The 4th one is from our private road looking to the meadow down the hill from my house.
